President

With over 23 years of experience in the industry, Eric Ongaro serves as the President of OLIO Development Group, leading the organization with a strong focus on maintaining a “people-first” culture. Holding a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Ohio Wesleyan University and an MBA from The Ohio State University, Eric ensures that OLIO’s mission, vision, and values are upheld while driving the achievement of organizational goals. He leads the OLIO Senior Leadership Team, affectionately known as “The OAC”, and spearheads strategic planning efforts.

Before assuming the role of President, Eric held the title of Vice President of Real Estate with OLIO. Prior to joining OLIO, he served as the President and CEO of RCO Limited, a successful franchisee of Raising Cane’s. He oversaw significant growth from 11 to nearly 50 restaurants with more than 3,000 employees and nearly $200M in Sales. Eric’s passion for the development industry, particularly in Quick-Service Restaurant (QSR) development, stems from his desire to make a positive impact on communities. By combining job creation and the right culture, he believes these projects contribute to the well-being of local communities. With his background as a former restaurant operator and leader, Eric brings a unique perspective that enhances project outcomes for clients.

Eric’s expertise, dedication to a people-centric approach, and commitment to community impact make him an invaluable asset to OLIO Development Group. With his strong leadership and industry experience, Eric continues to drive the success and growth of the organization in the development industry.

Outside of work, Eric cherishes quality time with his wife Meg, and takes pleasure in watching his four children grow up. He enjoys watching Ohio State football games, playing golf, and indulging in his love for travel.
