OLIO Development Group Expands Construction Operations into Georgia Following State License Approval
COLUMBUS, Ohio — OLIO Development Group, a full-service commercial real estate development and construction firm, announced today its expansion into the Southeast after receiving approval from the Georgia State Licensing Board to perform general contracting services in the state.
The expansion marks a significant milestone in OLIO’s continued national growth, driven by increasing demand from existing clients executing multi-state development programs. OLIO has previously served as owner’s representative for Shake Shack’s corporate support office at The Battery Atlanta and currently supports fast-growing brands including Raising Cane’s, Panda Express, CAVA and 7 Brew — all of which are actively expanding throughout the Southeast.

OLIO has identified Georgia, Florida, North Carolina and South Carolina as priority growth markets based on client expansion activity. The firm’s integrated service platform includes real estate acquisition, preconstruction services, permit coordination, utility coordination and setup, and construction management.
Unlike traditional developers, OLIO operates with an operator-first model, offering clients end-to-end visibility from site selection through opening day.
OLIO expects its Southeast operations to support dozens of new restaurant and retail developments annually as existing partners continue regional expansion.
Based on its current three-year development pipeline, OLIO expects to hire between 12 and 15 new team members to support its Southeast operations, including project and site managers and project coordinators.
